In June 2009 (6/20-6/27), Michael traveled to St Croix with 3 others to put on a VBS for the small church there in St Croix. 2008 was Sojourn's first real Christmas. Last year's Chrsitmas, he was only 3 weeks old. So, he didn't really know what was going on. We're pretty sure that he didn't fully understand what was going on this year either. Nonetheless, we all had a great time. This year, we were joined by Sojourn's grandmother. After opening presents, we relaxed and then had Christmas dinner with our good friends, Dessie and Ken. All in all, we had a great Christmas in 2008! View pictures here.

Christmas 2006 in Hunstville
We spent our 2006 Christmas in Huntsville with mom and the Goodson's. We had a great time and even had the chance to bring Aubie on the trip. We had an interesting trip with Aubie in the car, as she doesn't do too well and gets motion sickness (hopefully something she will grow out of). Christmas was somewhat bittersweet as it was the first Christmas spent wittout our dad. We certainly missed him, but we did not let that damper our spirits as we still had a great time. Our new puppy: AUBIE!!!
In early September of 2006, we have added a new addition to our family. We have a new puppy and we have named her Aubie (War Eagle!). She is 3 months old and she is a mix between an Australian Terrier and a German shepherd. At least that is what we were told. She is a bundle of energy and very hyper, but we have fallen in love with her already. Click here to view pictures of Aubie.

Our trip to Charleston
On Labor Day weekend 2006, we took a trip to Charleston, SC. It was the first time either one of us had been there and we enjoyed our stay. There was a lot about Charleston that we liked. It reminded us a lot of Savannah, GA, somewhere that we are very familiar with. We look forward to returning there to visit again sometime in the future. Click here to view pictures of our trip.

We miss our father who passed away in early July. As we look back on his life, we remember him as a lolving husband, a respected father, an honest friend and a loyal soldier and patriot. We have many fond momries of the man that was taken far too early. As we honor him, visit his Memory Page to see more about his life.
